Get the current Bun version

Bun.version contains the current version of Bun in semver format.

Detect when code is executed with Bun

Check process.versions.bun to detect whether code is running in Bun. This works in both JavaScript and TypeScript without extra type definitions.

Hash a password

Use Bun.password.hash() to securely hash passwords. It's built into Bun, with no third-party dependencies.
